hi, a quick qestion, as im fishing early tomorrow.
will rubbing the rod rings with a small dab of vasaline stop rod rings freezing over.?
had a problem last week as rings were freezing solid and had to break it all off before each cast.
Its to be colder tomorrow?

try glycerine, available from any chemist, remember to keep applying throughout the day as it will dissolve with water, failing that keep dipping the rod under the water........
