I have had Fly Life for a number of years which takes some beating.

I suppose from a UK point of view, it depends even more on what you're interested in. Are you looking for techniques/patterns/setups that you could try over there vs are you interested in reading about different types of fish and fishing with an eye toward "I'd like to go there. . ."
American Angler presents a pretty good mix.
I like
Eastern Fly fishing because it deals less with how to, and more about where. This covers everything from warmwater species like bass and carp to trout, atlantics, steelhead, and then all the coastal saltwater stuff. I think this keeps it fresh because it isn't so hyper-focused just on trout. In every issue there are articles about specific destinations and species. More to the point, this is mostly destinations with a small "d", none of the globe trotting celebo-angler + journo-buddy-stay-in-luxo-lodge advertisement ****. Eastern flyfishing covers everything from east coast saltwater action to the Gulf, to just west of the Mississippi.
Fish & Fly - (no relation to the UK website or this forum) is a good all-around magazine and one of the few that still does full-on head-to-head rod tests.
The Drake - If you object to the idea of a flyfishing magazine written by juvenile delinquents, then this magazine isn't for you. But it does represent a fresh take on fly fishing and it certainly is matched to a very specific demographic. The forums on their website are completely offensive and I'd never recommend them to anyone unless you want to laugh your ass off. The Unlimited Motivational Poster thread is the funniest thing I've ever read on the internet.
This last suggestion is NOT a fly fishing magazine, but
Salmon, Trout, Steelhead is really a good read. This is a hard-core, PNW-centric, salmon mag. Warning: If you object to a hardware-hurling, meat-flinging, bait-dragging, ovarian-hackle-hocking, lip-ripping, conk-em-and-cook-em style of fishing magazine, you should avert your eyes.
However. The STS guys really, really, really know their techniques and this includes fly fishing technique articles. They steal ideas from the best and then work on them to make them work better for their fishing. As far as learning techniques, this mag is tops, but there's only about one fly fishing article in each issue.
