Default Foreign application for EA licence - how is it done?

Got a mate who is Spanish coming over and wants to fish in the UK.

Fair enough. But when you get to complete the on line request it can only show a UK address ie postcodes only.

Because the application cannot show a care of address what address does he put down?

You might have thought you could input the correct address via the Post Office but even they are now slaves to computerisation!

Can't he use your address or the one where he will be staying when he is over here.

Yes he could use mine but he will be travelling in a camper van. I am not sure he would hold up under questioning from an official of the EA.

Si?

I don't think the address is that important. as said above use your address with c/o
should be fine

The EA are looking to check people have the correct licence for the fishing theyre doing. I'd be astonished if they questioned a validly dated licence. your friend could supply additional ID to show he is who he says he is. Personally i'd say good on him for doing it.

Good idea but Post Office computers/EA can't cope with a C/O address - tried it!

At the risk of sounding stupid, why don't you just leave the keyboard and give them a bell?
