I think Scotland were robbed of a well deserved draw while Ireland were terrible and sad as i am to say it deserved to be beaten. It was embarrassing

Ireland were really bad today, didnt look like a team wanting to win,
yired and stale looking,

france were powerful in attack and fantastic in defence,

scotland played well but should of kicked out into the stands at 80 mins instead of keeping the ball live in play for wales

As a neutral today I thought it was a great day of entertainment. I've just finished the sky+ replay after getting back from a day's trotting.

For me it was great to see Scotland back as a strong competitive team. They were a couple of good plays and some discipline from a fine performance. Thing is Wales are not a bad team even if it looked as if they were suffering from a hangover. So to make them look ordinary for 70mins was good play.

France look like the best team in the world in waiting .............. just think how the Kiwi's would feel if they go and beat the All Blacks in the World Cup final in Aukland .......... ouuuuuuch (but funny)!

I do agree with you Seanie, I'll go one further and admit that for 75 minutes Scotland played their socks off and deserved to win never mind draw, yet by comparison of the two matches France came out, took control and never looked anything else but in control and if you are honest Ireland deserved two sin binnings!.
I really was hoping that Ireland would be in the frame for the six nations as we have no chance on our present performance.
Still, Italy might stuff England tomorrow and thereby avoid the wooden spoon!!!.
PS, PIGS MIGHT FLY.

I agree, Flannery was lucky not to be off, Barnes must have had a specsaver moment.

whereas England going down to Italy, not a chance.

France won against an albeit lack-lustre Ireland.

Wales won, as expected, bit not with the authority of previous years.

And I expect England will win tomorrow... yawn...

FFS Italy has about much right to call itself a 'home nation' as Argentina.
Now the Pumas would liven things up... and last I heard there's a thriving Welsh colony in Puerto Madryn and Trelew where Argie rugby football thrives. Soccer more a Buenos Aires thing IMHO...

Feel sorry for me then, I was at Murryfield several seasons ago ( 2005/6)when Wales thrashed Scotland and went on to win the Grand Slam.
I was sitting in the stands with my wife and her family, all partisan Welsh supporters watching my son in law Stewart Grimes playing for Scotland that day all six foot six of him.
He went off injured in the first half !,now there was mixed emotions I can tell you. I'm so glad he retired soon after as I can now watch Wales beat Scotland with a clear concience.

Thumbs down

Very sad to see Scotland snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Dave.
