Default Bonnybridge Angling Club membership

Bonnybridge angling club are conducting a membership drive, any person wishing to join, can do so any tuesday night at Bonnybridge social club meeting starts 8pm.
Bonnybridge AC was founded in 1880 and has organised fishing outings since then for members from all walks of life, we have leased our own Reservoir since 1952, the reservoir area totals 33.3 acres, in a perfect country setting, the water is regularly stocked with good hard fighting rainbows and brownies, 2lbs upwards, we have 9 boats at present in use on the reservoir, membership fees are at present £10 entry plus £70 annual subscription.

For their subscription the members are allocated seven days, boat or bank fishing from midnight to midnight, per annum, on a rota basis, there is a two fish limit then catch and release, members can share the limit with another member at no extra cost, a fee is charged if the limit is exceeded, extra boats can be purchased outwith rota days for a £10 fee, 2 fish + cr.

The club organise a championship which any member can enter, usually there are 14 outings per annum, fished at various venues, that have been picked by members.

We have a junior section that has produced several, junior Internationalists.

At present we are in negotiations with Scottish Water, to purchase, from them, the reservoir, which is no longer a part of their supply system, consequently we require more members to ensure we can afford the upkeep on this wonderfull reservoir, PM me if you are interested I will get back.
yours in fishing Arty.

I have been a member of Bonnybridge Angling Club for the past 4 years. Dumbowie dam is a little gem. Beautiful surroundings, excellent wading, and fish that fight harder than anywhere else I have fished. The boats and boathouse are well maintained, with improvments being made each season. You will not get a better deal anywhere in the uk. This club is run by anglers for anglers. Definately worth every penny.
