Thought I'd drum up support for an evening presentation I'm doing for Rutland Water FlyFishers. It's on Thursday March 4th at 7.30pm, Empingham Cricket Club, Empingham, Rutland.
I'm talking a little bit and showing some videos on some of my overseas fishing trips: Russian Salmon from the Kola Peninsula, Giant Sturgeon from the Fraser River, Atlantic Salmon from the Miramichi in New Brunswick and a little bit about what I do on Rutland, to hopefull, dispell some pre-conceived ideas of what I do here. It'll hopefully be interesting, a little bit different and above all, fun. The emphasis, as with all my fishing, will be on the fun, adventure, and the rock and roll!.. we had an evening with Peter Gathercole last night and the attendance wasn't great, so please come along to this, the last event before the fishing season, get your juices flowing before the off! I've just heard it's non-members by invitation, so let me know, no probs.
