Has anyone ever had any trouble with deliveries? I ordered a quantity of flies from them last Tuesday and they still have not arrived I emailed on Monday asking what was happening and was simply told to wait and see. Surely 1st class postage doesnt take this long,

I have bought off them no problem can't remember how long to arrive but can't have been long or I would remember.

I have had orders from the before with no problems, the one time the flies i ordered were out of stock the e-mailed me with a date and they weretith me within the time they said

when i've ordered from them in the evening they've always arrived 2 days after nothing but praise for them from my own experience

I,ve used them a lot and have always been very satisfied, they've never taken more than two days to deliver.

I've used them several times, no issues

I've always found them super quick, however having had about 3 or 4 postal tubes out of about 24 sent out over the last 12 months, go missing, I am acutely aware that the Royal Mail ain't what it used to be. Alan

excellent company and have always been first class with their customer service. this is the first time i have heard any bad feedback concerning them

To be honest I would feel more inclined to blame royal mail but I just wanted to be sure that it hasnt happened to anyone else I will give it until Friday and if there is no sign I will go back and see what happens. Thanks to all those who have replied,

After 26 years in Mail Order dealing with Royal Mail - things do go wrong , not very often but they can be tardy.

The best one I ever had was when I bought several hundred quids worth of Pac Bay Rings off of Pete Cockwill about a decade ago - November 26th it was - and they never showed , so he sent me a replacement order and you know how it is - I felt guilty and he also felt bad about it ( cos he maybe thought I'd stiffed him ! ) .

They finally arrived on the 10th of July the following year - no explanation and I rang him and paid him for that lot as well - and we were both greatly relieved with each other and the situation - less happy with Royal Mail though .

As a dealer I am always suspicious when there's a 'Not Received' flagged up by a customer - the odds are I reckon around 1000 to 1 - the dealer is in a cleft stick these days as there is no doubt in my mind that a fair few are a try on - maybe 1 in 3 - you just get the feeling on the phone - and do you insure a five quid order - it ain't worth it . Believe me !

And these days they use a really weird system for returning stuff that they failed to deliver ( many instances of which are pure balderdash - I know my customers , especially the frequent repeaters ) - takes about 3 months and the gear comes back from some bizarre sorting out centre based in Belfast !!!

And , of course you learn in my trade - you never ever send anything at all to Greece !!
Most of the rest of Europe and Russia is fine . Blokes in Amsterdam invariably get it quicker than them in Burton on Trent ( 12 miles down the road from me ! )

Royal Mail is noticeably worse than it was in terms of speed of delivery than 20 years ago - however it ain't bad in terms of certainty - and may actually have marginally improved - but in terms of returning failed deliveries - ouch !
