Default Bread n Butter Broons!

Well chaps, its soon time to be tweaking our dree's across the top, hoping to tempt a lazy fat broon to come up and show his colours.

I'ts been too long during the close season, canny wait for those long summer evening's hunting the browns, looking for those perfect pools where the monsters sleep

yeah their is just something special about a brown trout ,,not saying bows are not as nice ! ,,because Ive seen some that are every bit as nice as a brown when in the right condition ,as i seen when i got the first look at a well over wintered bow at harelaw while out fishing with Alec in the boat (STUNNING !!!!!)
but those buttery yellow browns win it for me every-time, god i miss the river during close season, even if it is the kelvin , which for me is a true gem among the rubble with some great fishing on its day.

Evening chaps

Me and my mate have been discussing the forthcoming season and have decided to make a concerted effort in hunting that large broon!

the plan is to have at least a couple of outings per week (rivers only) and post our findings here within this thread, then hopefully come the end of next season we have some monster stories to discuss (the one that got away haha)

Using this thread as a kind of blog if you like of our travels (with some nice pics).
