I am looking to buy the stuff that is used for red tag flies( the red tail part)
is there a proper name for it, or is it just red wool?
Where can i purchase some in red also fluro green?

Red wool is the most commonly used. a good alternative is the glo brite flosses.

The original red tag used red wool.
