i fished there on sunday amidst a massive snow storm. it was very hard work to be honest. me and the gang all blanked and we only saw a few fish being pulled out all day. the biggest was just under 10lbs.

good luck mate.

I've not heard great things about Felindre, but not having fished it, can't vouch for their accuracy. What i can say, is that if you're from Essex, stop half way at Lechlade, where you've a VERY good chance of a double. over 50% of fish coming out are 10lb+

that does sound like very good advice. lechlade is next on my list and i think they have another fishery directly opposite i believe?

They do indeed. Bushyleaze. Another great fishery, smaller fish, but there are some massive grown on browns in there.

They certainly do! get yourself to the 'woodstock' part of the fishery, and remember your waders. keep an eye out for that big brownie, as this is the part of the lake they favour...

Back to Lechlade v Felindre. If you go on the felindre site, you'll see that there are a fair few doubles caught each week. Tim at Lechlade doesnt report them all because quite frankly lots of doubles are caught every day! each time you get a pull there's a 50% Chance it;ll be a double, and a decent chance that it'll be something rather special.

thank you very much bb. i also heard that at lechlade they have wheel barrows around to carry your fish. this one maybe one too far and it's just the boys taking the p1ss
