Exclamation Wading saftey .... it all just went to heck in a hand basket.

Dana has posted up a portion of Simms 'Wading Safty' film (more to come). But if you wade in moving water .... this IS a must see!

Well he coped with it fine 3 times out of four. From experience I know that BC rivers get serious logjams, and they are something I keep well away from on my trips there. Here in the UK they are not a major feature fortunately. Nevertheless, the video does show the benefits of planning your escape from this sort of situation should it occur. In the case shown I feel that a lifejacket would have been more of a hindrance than a help.
