Default Airflo Chalkstream - WF5F

Having inherited my old line already on the reel i now want to put a new line on.

I bought the Airflo Chalkstream - WF5F fly line with wealded loops at each end.

on my old fly line the head end was easily distinguishable from the tail end due to its diameter.

On this new line both ends are equal and the line does not seem to have a taper.

Question : how to i know which is the tapered end?

really confused....

any thoughts??

Default

10ft back from the 'tip end' the line should be significantly thicker whereas the running / shooting line end will remain thin for some 50ft or so.
