Default 4pc or 3pc hardy...what's the difference?

Hi Fellahs, got a dilemma. Have bought a Hardy Demon 3pc (£140 new) 8'6" & love it to bits.
Fancy getting the same in a #7 for larger still waters, Question is, do I buy a 3pc (cheapest I've seen is £186) or the new 4pc for £240.
Whats the difference (other than price)????

Yes and just to clarify one has one more peice than the other. That will be the four peice.

Cheapest offers I have seen are Grommit or Garry Evans. Check their web sites.

Default Words of wisdom indeed

Thanks mate, that made me giggle. Is there any differnce, the only advantage I see to a 4pc is perhaps its easier to fit in a suitcase?

Lol yes 4 piece easier for transportation mate, the 3 piece equally so as well, the actions are the same,

grommit here on the forum does cracking deals and offers a discount to forum members, he will give you any detail you need to know about the rods

If the rods are of the same blank design the three piece will be slightly more crisp actioned than the four piece.
Undetectable to most - but it'll be there. So I'm told...
