Default Gone down the pan.

Is it just me or do any of you feel the same as me about lakehill fishery N Wales. Has it gone down the pan since it was taken over. I have gave it a good run since it was taken over and i dont think there is as many fish being stocked. It seems alot more work than usual. Lake Hill Fishery.

or was it overstocked and they have done a survey and removed some to give you a better quality of fish ??????? overstocking can be a major problem as to the health and growth of fish ??

sage ,
if they have removed some ,that would always happen anyway a drop in numbers attending, some people just dont like to work for there fish, and if its been "easy" for them they will find somewhere just as easy ,personally i would prefer it with less people and good quality fish ,but i rarely fish stillwaters only when i have to , but for me better quality of fish thats had less hammer will always be a good thing
maybe a talk with the owner will throw some light on the subject ,if he/she a good fishery manager im sure they would tell you the truth, on another note has the cold snap put them off and sent them very deep ??

Of course they do. Salmon numbers should be on the up as the ban on 'power bait' is enforced. Bank side spinning and worming still encouraged.

No its not about a bad day, i have a 99% catch rate there. I have noticed over this past year-year and a half things taking a dive along with the fishermen that i have talked to there. The last two times i went there i was the only one there.....it was never like that no mater what the weather was like.
