seeing as times flying by and we are nearly at feb already ,i am thinking of going to bulgaria with the family they have two weeks rest,me i just have to put up with two weeks fishing she's a good our lass ,not that she has much choice as of yet we are not sure where we are going and the info i receive could well decide where we stay so as much info as possible please ladies and gents

beautiful country, extremly warm in summer months mate, has mountain ranges so its also caters for ski ing holidays,
been there 6 times , first time 1986, ,
very very cheap,
black sea is as clear as drinking water,
close to turkey and romania for day or week end trips,
very poor economy but caters well for tourists
beer and wine cheaper than bottled water, food all western europe type menu s

looking for somewhere close to some fishing mate ,if ya know anywhere ??

To be honest not really, except sea fishing mate, we went to sunny beach, its a resort there, but later on others trips stayed in varna bourgas, and nessibar,

still very communisty if you know what im saying. Buildings all from russian era, the old piers where russian submarines were docked, cold war sort of stuff,

Hi Bruce,went to Plovdiv a few years ago.Its really their 2nd city like Birmingham perhaps.
Fished the rowing course,great fishing for carp etc but dont know of any game fishing.
Who cares anyway with beer 50p pint,and all the women size 12 dress or under!!
You might find the food portions small hence all the lightweights!
Seriously ,although a bit rough round the edges loved the place,and people.
