HFA have an extensive winter program of fly tying and talks that are open to non-members and may relieve the boredom of cold winter's evenings.

These are held at West Hanningfield Village Hall every Wednesday at 7pm from Jan 7th to mid-March and feature fly tying instruction from local specialists Hugh Nolan and Peter Yeoman, suitable for anyone from a beginner to advanced.

In addition, there are two special guest evenings on January 20th, Dave Doherty, Rutland and general reservoir specialist and on February 17th, Bill McIlroy, our very own Pearly Dabbler. Both will be very entertaining I am sure.
