so is just the Scottish that have this brilliant concept or do us southerners do these as well (south west?).

being a numpty novice, I'd really appreciate the advise and tuition from some of you boys and girls that actually have clue

When the idea of this casting club/clinic first came about I put my name down, and when I learned it was Scotland I was disappointed !!
If there was something in Essex, or even within an hours drive I would be up for it.
Here's hoping.

I know Pete Tyjas who runs "Devon school of flyfishing" would be interested in this. I will give him a call
FYI his website is Welcome to The Devon School of Fly Fishing. The United Kingdom's leading school on fly fishing lessons!

Our Glasgow Club is the origonal started last May and during the summer was a great success at present we are looking for an indoor facility but this is not likely to kick in until next winter now. We still meet out doors but as you might imagine numbers have been limited at present. If you guys need any help or adivice just ask.

There will be Stewart.
Lochore Meadows is the Venue. Just names and the best day/night for everybody.
Still waiting for someone to get back to me, re inside casting.
Can do with a few names so I can tell him numbers

Something in or near the West Mids would be a Godsend

for those looking in and maybe thinking of attending one,

there is a lot to be got, as a regular goer to glasgow cc from the beginning and its amazing to see indivduals progress, some come for a couple of weeks to get up to speed, some with longer term progress in mind, for many its the first time they have had feedback on their cast, for others its a social thing and a good way to meet others, its also good to get the feel of different rods whether thinking of buying or just out of curiosity.
many are stunned that the outfit they bring is transformed in minutes by switching a line, marking their line so that they can guage how much line to pick up or what a difference just cleaning their line makes.

feedback from others is motivating, everyone thinks they are rubbish when they arrive but soon see they have the same issues as everyone else.
