Default Three go Stale on the Swale

After many a thread telling all how good the Swale was around the Richmond area, I invited Bruce (Barbusbruce) an Fred (Stillwater angler) for one of our (now becoming almost a monthly) meets. We met at up at 10 as discussed, well me and Bruce met up at 10, Fred true to form made his glamarous entry with a hand brake turn 20 minutes late.

We set off for the morning to one of my favourite beats on the Swale, well to keep it short we all blanked, early afternoon we decided to move on up into Richmond, well to keep it short we all blanked again a great day had though with much banter and fun, I look forward to the next meet lads.

I have kept this quite short as I know they will both want to add their two pence worth when they eventually get home.

Yes, it's getting a bit expensive losing all this tungsten , still at least i knew i was were i needed to be !

The water was spot on.......... and it was a lot warmer than last week's outing .

We had some good runs to go at and thought we were fishing well, i've zero excuses........ fished a lot better than last week...... but nothing for it

Only spotted one fish { 5-6 inch trout } all day which was sat in 3inch of water

Ah well, at least i'm hosting next weeks doo.........
