Default Stillwater Trout Angler, Scottish Angler

Anyone remember these, eventually got into our spare room and in the cupboard found every issue of both magazines. Came across " The Loch Leven Angler", Angling Map of Loch Leven prepared by William Robertson priced 1/6, How to catch Trout by Three Anglers 1922 priced 2s 6d and SNACA The First Hundred Years,

Never seen any of those mags Jim, anybody still on the angling scene in them. Do you think my mags are worth anything. I think the three books and map might be sought after. I remember bumping into Stuart Fraser the editor of SA and we were talkng about the mag, he told me to hold onto the Scottish Angler as there were not all that many about

I have 9 copies of Rod and Line, dated I'm pretty sure, 1967, 68 and 69..... the editor is W. B. Currie. They have some pix, including at least one front cover by David Gowans.......I think he now shoots for Scottish Heritage or a similar Scots body. His family ran the Palace Hotel in Aberfeldy, certainly in the 1940s and 50s, and he started life as a gamekeeper somewhere up north.
Does anyone know if these are collectable as such ? Should I hang on to them for reference or pass them on to interested collectors of these things ?

The old Loch Leven map I have somewhere but best is three bound volumes of Rod & Line NO1 1962-1965 all issues. Got that one on E Bay for less than £20 some years ago. Have a wee smile every time I browse them as there are a couple of photos of Paul Young in his youth......oh those ears
