Default advice please monnow/usk

i am in the process off setting myself up with all the tackle needed for a #3/4 setup (being mainly a large water fly fisherman) any advice at all would be gratefull also are there any more favourable stetches on both rivers that anyone could guide me in the right direction.
i have studied the wye and usk passport book and everywhere looks fantastic, but i havent got a clue as where to go first of all.
regards KEV

Hi Kev,

When are you intending fishing the Usk or Monnow? I may be able to help! Even meet up and point you on to some good beats! let me know what your looking for; and what time of year? The WUF beats are excellent, although there are other stretches on the River Usk controlled by clubs and associations that it's possible to get day tickets to fish them!

The area has so many good fishing streams and rivers that it's not possible to list just one ore two! Just let me know closer to your intended visit; and I'll try to point you in the right direction!

Mostyn
