Too true and in the now frozen wastes of deepest, darkest Hampshire we have no electricity either (nearly 24 hours now) and never had any gas supply in the area. Wood fire it is then and toasting forks at the ready. The roads are ungritted and Southern Electric can't sort the leccy problem out because the 4x4 vehicles 'weren't in the right place'.

God give me strength. It's not that difficult to watch a weather forecast, surely?

WTF do we pay these morons for?

another couple of inches will do ya the world of good, we had 7/8" yesterday and another 3-4" last night and today

great weather to be out grayling fishing ,get yourself out there ..ya southern softies

thats the trouble with us southern softies- i aint got no grayling fishing around here

otherwise i would be out there..and all my lakes are frooze aswell--------------ill get me coat.....

Too right Brucie, that's the spirit! I may try for some chub tomorrow/friday - wev'e only got six inches here so the sidecar will be a treat to ride to the venue. You should see the car drivers faces when I slew up the road past 'em at a steady 30mph and all crossed up.
