Hi Kev,bought one tail end of the season, wish I`d got it at the start. Great wee rod, so impressed I bought a 9`0" 5wt too. I did get a scare first day out, snapped the mid section at top joint while playing a 1lb brownie. Received new section from Wychwood 2 days later, had 2 more 1lb+ brownies no problems at all. So, well worth the money, great to cast. Peter
I`m using it with a Lamson Konic 1.5 and a 2wt DTf brilliant set up. P.

no................... but i do have an 8' 3/4# ,they are well made all the whips are finished off well ,i would describe it as a mid-tip ,i took it to a local still water where it coped with rainbows 2-3lb very well with a reserve of power through the butt section ,i love it for spiders on large streams and small rivers ,the cork's good on them ,for the money a great little rod

I'm considering the 8ft #4 so would also be glad to hear peoples experience of the rod. Seems good so far
