Default Who is getting out there?

We had American relatives over for Christmas and the weather was no big deal for them (we were up in the Welsh valleys beyond Pontypridd at the point of rendezvous).

I've just gone on the North American sister channel of this forum by accident and found that people are getting out there in all weathers?

... so generally, is fly fishing a fair weather scenario in the UK?

Well done C & M, you're quick on the draw - been out twice in the last week myself - invigorating but enjoyable!

Is that it then - all three of us?

...bound to be a few others that have been out!!!

Well, I am happy to fish in all weathers so long as I can get a line in the water.

Snow, rain, wind...whatever; fish need to feed in all weathers. And they do!

Yesterday and today... Managed about 2 hours each time before loosing all feeling in my fingers. Blanked both times...
Still, it was good to get out and the rivers are starting to drop round here so hopefully that will put the fish on. Planning a couple of grayling trips next week on the Coln and the Windrush so with a bit of luck it will be sunny if not barmy!
