Pretty obvious question but does your reel seat have a thread at the bottom?

What rod is it? If it is a Daiwa rod you can have an old one I have for nowt.

Guides and blanks....you will need to remove the end cap off the rod you wish to fit it to. There is usually an aluminium stub on a fighting butt. After you remove the end cap on your rod you will see the room you have to work with inside the reel seat and can perhaps modify a fighting butt to suit. Give them a ring they will give you the lowdown on whats available.
