Default River Test new years Grayling bash 2nd Jan

Hi

I am meeting up with Mickgee on saturday and heading over to the Test for a crack at the Grayling....

Any of you lads who fancy joining us are more than welcome....

I would ask that you phone Timsbury fishing on 01264 365165 or 07759-331385 and book your own day ticket.... they got a little cagey with me doing a group booking last time...the cost of a dayticket is £19...

please let us know on this thread who we can expect to see and we can synchronise watches.

Hope some of you can make it...

ATB

Martin

I submitted the requisite day fishing pass to Domestic Authority.

Permission denied. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Would love to have come.

a bump to see if we cant get any more interested... 19 quid for a day on the Test... come on chaps, a last taste of freedom before the drudge of the daily grind stars again for another year...

I would have been well up for this but have organised an alternative trip for tomorrow already. However, a couple of questions if I may? Where is Timsbury? How long is the stretch you can fish on this day ticket? Can you wade (or is it not necessary)? When does the season end (i.e. do I still have time to fish it)? Apologies for the basic level of questions but I'm still a relative novice and have been looking for somewhere affordable to fish the Test to try and broaden my horizons as it were. Also, sorry for hijacking your thread, wasn't my intention at all.

Thanks and Happy New Year,

Andy
