Hello again all, I've been away for a while now (approx a year infact) and I've even forgotten my old user name (I think it was Maximus) anyway, I've now moved house which explains my absense from the site!

I now live on a farm away from the maddening crowd on a hill opposite a ruined castle, we're seperated by the river ithon (tributary to the wye) and have about half a mile of fishing on it! This has lead me away from my normal style of fishing (stillwater) and hopefully this year will see me on the river (apparently full of Grayling and trout but i'm yet to see).

I would like to take the oppertunity to thank or re-thank Charles Rangeley Wilson for the Generosity he showed me the last time I was on this site, by sending my son Craig (Who suffers from Cerebral Palsy) a signed copy of his book "The Accidental Angler" Thanks Accidental you're a true Gent and If i didn't take the time to thank you before, I'm sorry but I was very busy moving house and sorting stuff out at our new house that things seemed to get way laid!

I've now started teaching our youngest son Mark and have just noticed that he's appeared on the Rhayader Angling association website with his first fish on a fly!

I'm gonna have to start reading through the basics again, I've forgotten most of what i'd originally learned and feel very rusty. River and stillwater differ so much and I just can'twait for this weather to clear up so that I can get out fishing again, It's snowing like mad at this very moment though, so I can't see it happening too soon.
