Hi, as in the title I'm new to fly fishing & need advice on what a reasonable setup is & approximate cost as I'm on a budget.
I belong to a club that has some good stretches of river including the dane & also can fish on chirk fisheries so any advice on all tackle is appreciated

Hi there,

It would seem that your fishing will all be river, not stillwaters. Without knowing the size & characteres of the waters you'll be fishing most of the time It's hard to advise in choice of tackle. Perhaps your first avenue would be to seek advise from members of your club, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to assist a new member !!
