Default how many will be allowed to go fishing?

well guys and girls, its that time of year again. kids are on holiday, most adults have some holidays at least.
But the question is how often do you want to go fishing?or how often do wives and husbands allow you to go fishing during the festive period?
im lucky in that respect as i dont have any kids just yet.and i wont have to babysit or entertain anyone else except myself.as an added bonus mrs cowboy comes fishing with me as well sometimes.so no getting dragged round the shops for me.
comments please

Not me, I am afraid.

Always fancied a trip to Avington on Christmas Day but never had the bottle to ask. I fished once in the Indian Ocean for huge exotic fish, actually three times cause it was so good, and the boat skipper advised me that a Swedish guy had the same two weeks booked for years. Yep you guessed it, the Christmas fortnight. It was not cheap in those days. Heavens knows how much it would cost now! But I still fancy Christmas morning at Avington!

I think crimbo day is out of the question for me but the other 364 days are fair game with the wifes blessing (even her birthday this year)

I am very lucky that way she has always let me do as I wish, I am a lucky boy..

Its the weather up here thats the biggest problem. The small rainbow stillwaters are nomally frozen over.
It has to drop to -16c tonight the rivers might freeze at that

I am allowed one days fishing during the two weeks i am off either the 4th or 5th of January, The OH has me scheduled for all sorts of duties during the holidays.
I did mention going down the Clyde for a couple of hours one day and all i got was a raised eyebrow which is almost as good as "No problem sweet heart I hope you have a nice time fishing".

I cannot complain, i have been fishing the last two weekends in a row, which is not bad with 2 small kids.
She is a good lass after all.

At this time of year I have no urge whatsoever to venture out fishing. I'm purely a spring to autumn fisherman so it doesn't even cross my mind, except when I read about people going out in sub-zero temperatures on here.

Mad, you're all mad.
