Tickets from the fishing tackle shop in Cefn Mawr £10.

Derek's Fishing Tackle Shop
Paris House, Well Street,
Cefn Mawr, Nr Wrexham
LL14 3AE
Tel: 01978 821841

Park at Ty Mawr Country Park, it is sign posted from Cefn Mawr, or bont bridge a little further up river, the bont bridge cark park is the left turn going up the hill straight after the bridge, it's down the gravel track and has a sign.

Ty Mawr Country Park
Cae Gwilym Lane
Cefn Mawr
Wrexham
LL14 3PT

There's also a dedicated maelor car park at Ddol Isaf (Dollys), it's a little harder to find a sharp turn of one of the main roads, sorry, I can't remember the name of the main road.

The other main stretch is the golf course/broken bridge area, park on the A539 and there's walking access down to the river side across the road from the pub (sun inn I think it's called). You can also park at the golf course as long as you stick to the side of the course when walking down to the river.

If you PM your email address I'll forward you a map with the waters marked.

Regards,
Terry

P.s. you may catch the river just right even if the snow melts by then.

That's Ok - wasn't trying to be 'smart'.
