Default Winter fishing

Got a little thermos flask as a present,it only holds 2 cups and fits into my
fly fishing vest.
Great I though some nice hot coffee with a drop of whisky, that will keep
me warm on my next grayling trip.
But then I thought hold on- thats something else I will be carrying around
with me.
Ive got 2 fly boxes, tippets, leaders, line, camera, wallet, mobile phone and
glasses all in various pockets, hanging from the back is my scoop
net,and should I choose to wear them- my waders-life jacket and wading
staff .
Well I am not the slimmest or fittest of persons and I think I will
look like the "Michelin Tyre Man" as I walk down the banks of the Clyde.
So my questions for the Forum is:
When going for a days winter grayling fishing .
What would you wear ?
What is the minimum amount of tackle to take?
Is it necessary to wade?
Do you wear a life jacket?
Peter

And I was thinking- I was the only Pish Heed on this Forum.
Love to bump into you one day on the river bank.
We can exchange stories-or something like that. Peter
