Unhappy The sad passing of a legend a cove

Hi folks its with the saddest of hearts i have to inform you all of the sad passing of the legend that was.

ARTHUR COVE

born in 1930 in london and passed away on 18th december 2009

the man was a genius with the nymph and a great angler to boot, his book taught many people the fine art of trout fishing in general.
He will be very sadly missed by my father, his friend of over 30 years and myself as well as numerous others .Goodbye old friend god bless you .Bill Mcilroy

Sad news indeed Bill, I never had the pleasure of meeting the man or even seeing him in action but I greatly admired his writing and fishing philosophy. His book "My Way with Trout" was a huge influence on my own fishing.

I would like to add my sincere condolences.

Terrible news indeed, not just for his family but for the angling world too.

I hope he has found peace next to a clear, tinkling, stream somewhere.
