Does anyone know if any of NW fisheries are open all year? I fancy going somewhere big and wild at the weekend and was thinking along the lines of Grassholme, hury or Cow Green or something similar. I have searched their site but cant find anything about closed dates.

No, all the Northumbrian Waters waters are closed from 30 November until 14 March.

All closed at end of November except Derwent which stayed open until Dec 12th.
That's it until Mid March now.
