Thumbs up

They look a very nice and simple reel to me CJ, I would like to have a play with one.
Sometimes simple is best, especially on small stream stuff.

Hi CJ saw the prototype at the spring flyfishing show at Newark England last year looked good wide `drum though, would have bought it there and then but it was not for sale.
They did say a few mods were in order ie: "V" cut the spool to hold more backing etc, as usual though kept putting off the release date during the river season so I moved on and bought a Orvis BBS II instead.
Still not seen the new version as local fishing tackle shops do not keep it as a stock item.
The original reel felt good looked the part was light but I just could not wait..

they do look the part,a good wide arbour is what im after.my stream reel i have at the moment gives a certain amount of memory.
to play a decent sized brownie should be fun without the aid of drag, not saying they get that big in my rivers, wishful thinking ,just like the thought of it being oldskool!!! nice and simple
