Default And other than hats.......

What will you be wearing in spring next year when you tread the banks?

Correctly a good sports hacking jacket in an excellent Holland & Sherry cloth by Huntsman, or Henry Pooles or maybe Anderson & Sheppard.

With this you have to be seen in the finest breeks.

A bespoke cotton Tattershall shirt and of course your regimental tie?

Can't be seen to be working class what?

Shouldn't that be 'Tailor made'?

I wear a Tattersall shirt when fishing and hunting. I have a few Barbour ones, they are ideal with a thermal vest., along with Hogg's moleskins and a Barbour jacket. Comfy, warm and hard-wearing.

Don't wear a hat though.

My shirts are made exactly to my measurements by Turnbull & Asser old chap.

They call them "Bespoke".

My own Barbour Jacket is one of their latest with Goretex. Got it two years ago from John Norris.

In my wine waiter days ,myself and my violinist mate used to turn up at Walthamstowe ressers in tail coats and black bow ties.
Naturally we would wear our trendy fishing waistcoats over the jackets.
