Default Will this work?

On a previous thread I asked the forum on what action to take to deter
cormorants from our stocked water.
Since then we have been told that cormorants “don't get on with” -
sea eagles.
We are now going to erect a 15ft pole – at the top will be a cut-out of a
white tailed sea eagle.
It should look quite impressive with a highlighted white tale and big yellow
beak .
To make it more life like it is also perched on a big spring.
Our members are getting fed up with going to the pond early, every morning
and trying to - “Shoo them off “.
What do the forum members think? - I'm not taking any bets.
I will keep you all informed on the result.
Looking forward to be cormorant free. Peter

You could to make it more realistic add waterproof speakers set to blare out a sea eagle call every 15 mins or possibly look in to ultra or infra sonic devices to deter them because if their hearing freq. is higher or lower than humans playing a really loud sound in this range would make them sh1t themselves abit like you standing beside a very large speaker playing rerally loud

Just found out that a birds hearing range is between sub 50hz and above 20khz, but haven't found anything specific to cormorants prehaps someone could halp.

I used to fish at a stillwater in Bedfordshire where they were shot on sight whether anglers where fishing or not!
