What water was this? small water I'm guessing?

Theres a small lake where I live, me and a mate went up there one Christmas and broke a hole in the middle of the ice. We were literally casting into a round circle about 30 foot diameter and then had to skate the fish over the ice to the net - no joke. A good day fishing it was too!

Not lately but have done many a time when ive gone to Halliford mere, even though a quick phone call would have saved petrol, might be doing the same on the 24th of dec ,by the looks of the weather
