another season has ended and it was quite enjoyable, i ha some great laughs and met new friends within the angling communiy. on the competition scene well lets just say i didnt embarrass myself lol, i also caught my best fish to date on mask the night before the world cup started, a lovely gillaroo around 6lb. i returned him based on the agreement he would allow me to catch him again the next day, but he never showed up for our date ha ha and needless to say i didnt qualify ,mom and dad bought mea honda 15 for my 20th birthday and im over the moon just hope i dnt hit any rocks. i also was elected chairperson of our local club at the age of 19 and i have to thank my felow committe members who showed me the ropes andhelped through the tough times, thanks lads your true friends. on that note in my opinion the the 2009 was my most enjoyable so far. i have realised its not about winning comps pr catching the most fish, fishing is much much more than that, cherished memories and friends that last forever!!!
