at commitee meeting last night decision was taken to preclude all access from outside clubs to fish mid nithsdale for grayling, this included an application from grayling society, another grayling club, and myself, supervising forum members.
reason given was that association have had bad experiences in past with grayling fishermen en masse causing disruption to river.
perhaps a bit short sighted on the committees behalf, but i have to abide with their decision.
i am sorry for all those who have responded re my original plans.
