mid wales i love it!!!!! WUF beats are beautiful, the trout fishing can be spectacular and with the added bonus of BIG grayling in the wye and its tribs you can fish all year round. there is a lot being said about the salmon fishing (or lack of it) but i am no expert on this side of things but the evidence is there for all to see. i stay at kilsby cottage and its lovely if a little far away from the main wye. 10 miles i think but i am giving the cammarch hotel a go next season. they both have websites. hope you give it a go. jon mcmillan.

Hi Mossie, can recommend weekends in Cumbria/ Lake District.
I sometimes stay at a certain Hotel which include free fishing to guests. The waters are W.A.D.A. A owned so are quite decent fisheries. High Newton being my favourite. Other fisheries are also available, Estwaite and Bigland naming just two, ck

Mid Wales, the West Country, the North of England, and virtually anywhere in Scotland. There's some great fishing with great hotels all over the place, you just need to do some research and take the plunge, enjoy!
