Default Great article in Fly Fishing & FlyTying mag, and a book recommend

There's an excellent piece in the December issue called 'Why Do We Fish' by Logie Bruce Lockhart. Full of truth, and well worth having a look at.

After reading it I picked a book from my bookshelves that I've had for years, that examines what it means to be a trout fisherman, and was really impressed with it in a way I hadn't been when I first bought it years ago.

The book is called 'Halcyon Days - the nature of trout fishing and fisherman', it was written by Bryn Hammond, and published by Swan Hill Press in 1992. The guy really knows his stuff, and for anyone interested in the 'bigger' questions about the sport we love, I'd say it was a must-read. There will no doubt be some available on Amazon.
