There is snow on the mountains in my village, Julian Alps, all the year round, I will be skiing, enjoying it at Christmas, I am going home to see my Grandparents, I'll take my Grandpapa a bottle of Scotch whiskey, for medicinal purposes, he says!!.............
Merry Christmas and happy coming year to all....x

Snow in Snowdonia too...

Not just the mountains but on the low hills and down to any villages above the 500' contour.

Here's hoping for a White Christmas.

Ah, I love a bit of snow, transforms everything!

Weird weather this year - we're only an hour or so east of Brecon and all we get is seriously wet Bristol Channel downpours, rain is OK but when your drive floods and your chickens are paddling around in a quagmire, enough's enough.

Friends in Manchester always used to moan it's too wet up their way and have just moved to Exeter - I had to convince them that this year is a tad wetter than usual.

Looks like if the current pattern is anything to go by then Scandanavia is moving south - weather hits a bit of altitude on the Welsh Hills around the Beacons and if the temps are right, we can look forward to ski resorts outside Brecon - good slopes there, snow just needs to improve - then we can fire up the Vin Chaud machine!
