Default Warm heart - cold hands

Went out for a few hours last Sunday and, because of a fairly strong wind, my fingers became very cold, very quickly.

Anybody got any ideas on the best gloves for providing warmth but also ability to feel and to handle the line?

Surgeons latex gloves work a treat in winter.

Hi pondlife.Ive got ultra thin 1.5mm neoprene gloves and they do the trick for me and you can feel and handle the line no prob. When i use them i have no problem with the cold. They just take a little time 2 get on with at first thats all

One of the main reasons that your hands, (and feet),are cold, is because your body core is cold.
Your body will draw heat away from the extremities to keep your organs hot. so you need to wrap up warm all over first.
If you can keep your hands as dry as possible to, this helps.
Neoprene cuffs on a jacket help as well.
