Default More reel help please!!

Seems nobody can help me with changing the wind on a Ron Thompson reel so.........can anybody tell me who makes them?

Can't find any trace of a manufacturer by this name so assume they are made by another company.

Anybody know?

I'm pretty sure it's Svenson sports. The makers of Scierra.
If my memory serves me right I think you have to turn round the bearing in the spool.

"Ron Thompson" is a badge stuck on kit from a wide range of different makers....

There is a "Ron Thompson - Crosswater" which is really an Okuma Airframe - and another (the Powershoot) which is a dead ringer for the Shakespeare Odyssey...

If you can't pin down the exact model name - perhaps a couple of pictures might help some of the guys to give you a decent guess..
