Default WuF webcams infected with a Trojan virus
I have just tried to look at the web cams on the WUF site and on two of them a warning came up from my virus protects stating that they were infected with a trojan virus.

Just thought i should warn peeps.

would that mean, the programme that controls the web cams is infected with a virus? and do the WUF know about it?

It could very well do but i'm no tech guy so have not got a cule.

it may have been a false positive in their heuristic detection, lot of it about at the moment check here

AVG 9.0 didn't find a virus/trojan. I think it's a Panasonic download: 'SysCam Inst.cab' and not a virus.
I was also offered ActiveX control 'Jpeg Inst.cab' on another intercepted pop-up. I didn't download either so unable to watch live pics. The four previous still images are fine.

It comes up on mine as:

HEUR:Trojan.Script.Generic

Not sure what that is?
