Default Deveron Jewels

Hi every one,

I'm new on this forum.I spent a lot of time on French forum, and now,I want to share my fly fishing passion with you guys!

I'm a student in environement engineering, and I worked several times in the UK with the deveron trust. The best times were electrofishing for broodstock, check this out

FF , the Deveron seems to have a good run of salmon , would you say that this is supported by the stocking ,or would the river be as good with out ?
Have you seen the recent floods they had , really something else !

I'm not aware of what's going on now on the Deveron, but I know that last year was a very good year.

I'm not a pro in salmon, but I find those fish gorgeous.

Do they have huge floods now??

Sure the hatchery brings a lot of alevins in the river, but can we say that the hatchery is the reason why?

Ithink it's a diificult question to answer....the habitat is maybe more important than a hatchery? Who knows?

iv recently moved to Huntly which makes the deveron/isla/bogie my local
im really looking forward to exploring it next year.

JR you will enjoy , my crowd went up there 3 years ago first time for a week , we decided we were coming back tuesday breakfast time !
