I fished that beat last weekend. FWIW, I don't think the water is suitable for Czech Nymphing. It tends to be deep and slow and clear.
I used a small (#16) ptn fished shallow, as IMO the fish are still looking up for food, with some success. A long leader and a longish cast upstream keeps you out of sight of the fish.
