Default Maelor Angling Association

Off to Wrexham tomorrow morning and been trying to contact them via the only means they offer, namely a website form. Unfortunately both Safari and Firefox doesnt seem to send the form or least ways they are not replying.

Shame not to do some fishing whilst I'm there. Anyone any idea of a telephone number or an alternative fishing spot?

Much appreciated.

The man you want is Ken Bathers, the website is a waste of time, but he is very helpful, his e-mail address is;

bathers@deesalmon.fsnet.co.uk

I expect the Tribs will be out of the question.

I tend to fish Chirk Fishery when the Dee is out great little place although it is quite close to the River Ceiriog so you should ring first

There were roads blocked by floods in the Dee valley yesterday and it won't fish for perhaps a week with no more rain but more is forecast!!

Anyway, Ken will probably be at the Assembly Bus stops today letting AMs know what he thinks about canoeists. He is however the man to contact and the Maelor water is good but perhaps a little more heavily fished than many other Dee stretches.
