Can you be a little more specific?
Is it worth the money?

sorry mate its just there is a lot of materials that will tie a bunch of different patterns and variants, too many to list and I bet tons that I cant name! Veniards do some good gear, they should be a good starting point for you to build on and but the practice in. A lot of the guys on here wouldnt adivse on the kits, and they are all far from perfect but for somebody starting from scratch I think they are a good idea and this one seems better than some that i have seen.

Shame you have to buy it from GAC though

I wouldn't recommend kits because they include a lot of materials you will never use and quality can sometimes be dubious.

I would personally suggest making a list of patterns you like and want to tie then building your own kit from scratch to tie those.

A decent budget vice such as a Regent rotary and a half decent set of tools and off you go.

I started off with the Veniards kit and 2 years later, still have a lot of it unopened. This is only because I`ve settled on 10 patterns for during the season, not because the materials are rubbish. I suppose if I was tying lures, I`d use more of them, but they`re always there,Just in case. The kit you have described, is a slight improvement on my original one. Peter
How much is it?

Mate just pick some patterns you want to try, look them up on You tube, write down the materials you need, and buy them as you need them.

If you have got the vice and the tools already what flies do YOU want to tie?

If you want a kit may I suggest joining the Fly Dressers Guild, Annual subscription plus a fly tying kit inc.book is £38.00
Failing that, just buy what you need as you tie each fly.
