Default Balance addressed at Pennine

Hi

For those of who who read my post on Sunday about blanking at Pennine when everyone else was catching, well I went back this morning after taking all the advice from here. Very happy to report 3 Rainbows over 5lb and 3 which I lost.

Must have been the flurocarbon tippet etc that was recommended on here, and all the other good advice. They were taken on floating line, but one of the blokes reckons to get the real monsters you need medium sink line.

Cheers Everyone, my faith in trout has been restored.

Hi beardywierdy, see if you can purchase some Loynton Guinea flies or similar, they are deadly on Pennine especially on an intermediate lines, good luck, ck.

Pleased to hear you caught today great feeling after a blank day.Yes you can catch the lumps on the top at pennine but a few feet down gives you a better chance.Once wached a 16lb er rise and take a cats whisker just cast out and still floating on the top.My wife caught this of the top Pennine Fishery - thoughts???
