Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no sharkskin sinking lines available, right?

This surprises me, surely a shark's skin has evolved as such to reduce drag while submerged. If a sharkskin sinking line was developed wouldn't it offer less drag than a conventional sinking line, offering greater feel and lessening the reaction time to a take?

Funny thing is, i was discussing this with my dad a few nights ago. I do think i read online somewhere about the prospect of them releasing a sharkskin sinking. ill try and find the link for you.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but surely a Shark skin fly line has nothing in common with a shark's skin. Is it not just a brand name? I know the line is textured in some way but the skin on a shark is made up of thousands of little specialised scales called denticles. Can't imagine there being anything like that on a fly line.
